When someone gives us a gift or a favour we thank that person with some kind words like “Thanks a lot” or “Thank you very much” or “Much appreciated” etc, it is always good to give thanks to the people who are around us and people who come across our path in the walk of life for doing good things in our lives, but what about our God who created us and kept us in this beautiful world, gave us a gift of life and air to breath in and many blessings. He is the one who breathed His breath in our nostrils. Some times we go through good times and some times not so good times, but the God who created us will never leave or forsake us for He is with us all the time especially in the time of struggle He will see us through. Let us start thanking Him in every situation and circumstance.
Bible says in 1st Thessalonians 5:18 “Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” In the book of Psalms we find many verses written by King David and other Psalmists about thanking God by singing and worshipping in Psalm 100:4 “Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.” Psalm 7:17 “I will give thanks to the LORD because of his righteousness and will sing praise to the name of the LORD Most High.” Psalm 28:7 “The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song.” and many other verses we can quote. The key is when we start thanking Him by singing and speaking and communicating, we find such a Peace and joy coming in our heart.
Jesus Christ loved us so much that He gave His life for us and gave us eternal life “Whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life” this is His promise with us, so we encourage you to accept Him as your Saviour and start thanking Him for His love and Mercy is forever with those who believe in Him.
